Shree Hanuman revealed the glorious form that He took to cross the mighty ocean to Lanka on the request of Bheemasena. This splendorous form that puts fear in the hearts of the sinners and brings joy to the devout astounded Bheemasena.
Bheemasena profusely thanked Shree Rāma bhakta Shree Hanuman and offered prostrations. Shree Hanuman then affectionately hugged Bheemasena. The moment Shree Hanuman placed His hands around Bheemasena, all the tiredness that plagued him left him.
Bheemasena, renowned for his strength felt his strength increasing and realized that there was none comparable to him now.
Shree Hanuman overcome with emotion said in a trembling voice, “O brave one! Now, return to your residence. Do remember me once in awhile in your conversations. Never tell anyone that I live here. It is the time for the gandharvas, apsaras and other celestial beings from the palace of Kubera to visit this scenic place.
My eyes are glistening with joy after seeing you. When I saw you and touched your body, I remembered Shree Rāmachandra. Lord Vishnu is only Shree Rāmachandra.
Shree Rāmachandra bestows happiness in the hearts of all in the universe and killed the radiant ten-headed Ravana who brought sorrow to Sītā Devi.
Think of Me as your brother and ask something. If you want Me to kill those evil sons of Dhrutharashtra, I can do that. Else, I can destroy the entire city with a shower of stones. Else, I can tie up Duryodhana and bring him to you. Tell me what you want and I will do it.”
Bheemasena was elated with the words of the brilliant Shree Hanuman and replied with folded hands, “May You be fortunate! O mighty-armed One! I only pray that You will be pleased with me always and be merciful towards me.
The Pandavas are indeed blessed to have a protector like You. We can surely defeat our enemies with Your help.”
“You are my brother and well-wisher. I will definitely be on your side. When you enter the army of the enemies who are wounded by your bow and strength with a lion’s roar, I will be by your side and make a thunderous war cry.
Besides this, I will sit on Arjuna’s flag and will make a deafening sound that will take away the prāna of your enemies making it easy to kill them.”
Saying thus, Shree Hanuman showed Bheemasena the way back to his home and disappeared instantly.
