Vaishampayana said, “Janamejaya! After hearing Dharmaraja Yudhishtira and Bhagawan Shree Krishna, Arjuna, son of Kunti said the following to Sanjaya.”
Arjuna said, “Sanjaya! Bheeshma Pithamaha – Son of Shantanu, Dhrutharashtra, Dronacharya and his son, King Shalya, Bahlika, Vikarna, Somadatta, Shakuni – son of Subala, Vivimshati, Chitrasena, Jayatsena and Bhagdatta who is the brave superlative warrior amongst warriors – please meet and greet these as well as the other Kauravas who are present and all the kings who have gathered there with the desire and intention to go to war and all the brave ones and those governing lands of Sindhudesh called by Duryodhana in the appropriate manner accorded to them and please relate my well-being to them and pay obeisance. Thereafter, please give this message of mine to the paragon of evil namely Duryodhana sitting in the congregation of kings.”
Vaishampayana said, “Janamejaya! In this manner, Dhananjaya, son of Kunti permitted Sanjaya to leave speaking about matters of dharma and artha that delight the hearts of well-wishers and which also instills fear in the hearts of the sons of Dhrutharashtra.
Upon hearing Arjuna’s command, Sanjaya respectfully said “Tathastu“. Thereafter, he sought permission from the other sons of Pandu and from Bhagawan Shree Krishna.
